At first, it is just an idea and it is not a regular DC power splitter.

And as a manufacturer, we give some advices to Mr K based on the view of production, such as the material of the wire etc.

Mr K take our suggestions and then revised the design as below

We know this is a new product for Mr K, and he may have not enough confidence that this idea can come true.

And we don’t want to produce the cables in bulk but the customer can’t use it, too. So we propose that we can make several pcs of sample for him. And to show our sincerity, our sample is free.

Within 1 week, Mr K got the sample, and then they test it, and so get some feedback from their customers.

To get a good market response, Mr K decided to revise the design again, from one size to two sizes. The small one is for Male customer, and the big one is for male customers. So their products can cover all of the customers.

We will have a short holiday to observe the New Year's Day holiday.

This August, Mr J called us to place an additional order for CCTV accessories, such as CCTV Camera Cable, Power Cord, BNC connectors etc. It is almost the end of August at that time. And the China’s national Day is coming in October 1, the workers will have a 7 days break. We estimated that it may take about 3-4 weeks to finish Mr J’s order. Time is very urgent. Mr J say he can’t tell his customer that their products are out of stock, it is a shame.

Then September became the most busiest month in this year. Finally, we get Mr J’s goods ready at the end of the September. But a notification from Mr J’s forwarder make us nervous again, we have to deliver the goods to the customs warehouse before 9/28.

You know, China is the factory of the world. So not just our company want to ship the goods before the holiday. When we arrived at the port on that day. The trucks was so long, about 2kms.

Our workers and driver get to the port in the morning, and back in the midnight.

Anyway, we keep our promise to deliver the goods on time for the clients.

Since Mr M’s target market is the retailers and supermarkets, we have to keep the bags and the barcodes are neat in appearance. As you know, the connectors are hardware. It will be very easy to rumple the bags and labels after they stay in the cartons and a long journey across the Pacific Ocean. Our solution is the air cap, and putting the bags in order level by level. And it really works.

Cabling is the work cost most of the time when you do the CCTV System installation. fortunately, we can have some cables that can save some time and cost for us today. They are Plug Play CCTV Camera Cable and Bulk CCTV Siamese Cable.

The Plug Play CCTV Camera Cable.

The Plug Play CCTV Camera Cable, also called Premade CCTV Siamese Cables, which comes with the BNC connector, DC connectors or even with RCA Connector pre-terminated on the wires.

The biggest advantage of using a Plug Play CCTV Camera cable is that there is no need for any tools or connectors. The work is already done for you! All the user needs to do is plug them in and power up your cameras.

The disadvantage with using a Plug Play CCTV Camera cables is that these cables come at a certain length usually.( Such as 25ft, 50ft, 75ft, 100ft, 150ft. ). It is not very flexible in use.

And another thing you need to consider that is some suppliers does not use the real coaxial cable and heavy duty power cord for the Plug Play CCTV cable, since the connectors are pre-terminaled, the customers can't check the specification from the appearance of the cable, unless you cut it. These fake Plug Play CCTV cable can run in long distance. (Over 45ft). It will cause serious video degradation.

The Bulk CCTV Siamese CCTV

The advantage of using the Bulk CCTV siamese cable are flexible and cost.

You can run the cable according to the distance when you install the system. And Most bulk CCTV siamese cables are more cheaper because the cost of building the cable is added.

But if you buy bulk cable and build your own cables yourself you need to account for the added cost of a termination tool, wire stripper, BNC connectors, and your time.

So the conclusion is that to choose the cable types that best support your CCTV system installation, you need to taking everything into consideration.

The Plug Play CCTV camera cables may be perfect solution for some CCTV installations. The premade CCTV cables are easy to run and save you a considerable amount of time during installation. But it all depends on your application, your budget, your cable runs, and the time you want to spend to install your system.
